I agree, as youve said, that Polymer is infact unhealthy to stretch with, or to wear for a very long time, without breaks... but i really see nothing wrong with wearing earings made of polymer, so long as they are artfully, and smoothly crafted as yours.Ive seen ALOT of polymer earrings that people should probably never ever wear in stretched ears, due to the unevenness, but yours look fine. :)
